The Debating Salon
EVENT INFORMATION
To bare or not to bare… Breasts and today’s feminism
We are delighted to welcome Ella Wheelan, journalist and TV commentator, to discuss this month’s topic. Breasts have become an obsession by new mothers, anti-page 3 girls campaigners, etc. Could woman’s bodies be policed by contemporary forms of feminism, in ways no less insidious than before ? Are we in danger of reviving a reactionary view about women’s autonomy and capabilities?
