Beloved Members can enjoy a complimentary traditional lemon and sugar pancake in the Drawing Rooms or The Restaurant this Shrove Tuesday when making a reservation between 8am – 6pm.

 

Plus, we’ll be serving up a special menu of pure indulgence so that you can make the most of this fine and flippin’ marvellous day. Choose from Canadian-style pancakes with blueberries and maple glazed streaky bacon, or crepes stuffed with ricotta cheese and raisins, served with caramelized walnuts and chocolate sauce.

Shrove Tuesday marks the last day before Lent, traditionally a period of abstinence, associated with clearing one’s cupboards of gorgeous treats such as sugar, fat and eggs.
