EVENT INFORMATION

Join us for a Meet the Producer ‘away day’ with a visit to one of England’s largest sparkling wine houses – Hattingley Valley. The vineyard sits in quintessentially English countryside but you can taste the innovation. A key element of their style is the subtle use of oak barrels to ferment a small proportion of the wines each year as well as ageing on lees in stainless steel tanks. This softens the wines before they go into bottles for the second fermentation.

Our Home House Sommelier Alis Jusic will greet you at the club for the journey by coach to the winery (approximately 1hr 45mins). You’ll be welcomed with tea and coffee on arrival before taking a guided tour of the vineyards and winery.

Relax over lunch and a selection of Hattingley wines before returning to the capital with sparkling (of course!) refreshments for the journey. Arrive back at Home House around 5.00pm.

Cost: £75 member, £85 guest

Time/Location: Leave Home House at 9am, arrive back 5pm.
