EVENT INFORMATION

Our partnership with Rose Balston and the fantastic team at Art History UK is now in its 5th year. These cultural tours continue to be real gems in our members’ events calendar and sell out quick!

We’ve put together some great walking tour dates for the summer season so, if you like the idea of small groups (perfect opportunity to meet fellow members!), passionate guides, enlightening conversations, read on!  The events are not about lectures and seminars (though they are deeply educating): the focus is on bringing London’s treasures to life.In this walking tour, duck and weave through the energetic streets of London’s East End.

Located a stone’s throw away from the financial district of the City, learn how this area has been transformed over the years by immigration and discover an eclectic mix of hidden treasures, a melting pot of cultures, cuisines, and quirky characters.

From the murky history of Jack the Ripper to stories of triumphant entrepreneurs, hidden houses and churches, cutting edge galleries and some of the world’s finest examples of street art, this will be a fascinating look at London’s most vibrant part of town.

Cost: £25 per person

Time/Location: 6.15pm, One Bar, 16-18 Brushfield Street, Spitalfields Market EC1

Due to the popularity of our events, we are unable to offer refunds.
