Wines From Unexpected and Unusual Places
‘…and now for something completely different’
Join our resident wine and drinks educator, Alison and our Head Sommelier Alis Jusic to discover some delicious and fascinating wines from outside of the run of the mill.
Wine drinkers all over the world are singing the praises of Japan’s own delicate white grape, Koshu and we will be sampling it together. China is starting to become a serious producer, as well as consumer and we will sample some.
We will explore the delights of wines from Europe, outside of the familiar regions of France, Italy and Spain and discovering some gems to look out for.
This tasting allows us to explore wines with great flavour and character that are less inflated in price than some wine list stalwarts, and that deliver amazing value.
We will “boldly go” through a tasting ranging from the “cradle of wine” in Georgia to some of the newest wine growing success stories.
Join us for a friendly relaxed evening of varied and unexpected delights!
