Twenty Years of Music: Diana Yukawa

We are thrilled to welcome back revolutionary violinist and composer of
electronic classical music, Diana Yukawa.
Diana was born in Tokyo just 3 weeks after the 1985 Japan Airlines disaster
that took her father’s life. Her mother took Diana, when only a few months
old to live in London which has been her home ever since. She began learning
the violin at 5 years of age and had the great privilege of studying with the
late, great master Ruggiero Ricci, as well as Maurice Hasson, Hu Kun, Rodney
Friend and Natasha Boyarsky.
She released her debut album at the tender age of 14, being acknowledged as
one of the UK’s top 10 artists. Today, she has released 5 solo albums with Sony
Music, BMG and her own indie label, Longbody Music.
Diana has performed solo at the Royal Albert Hall, Hollywood Bowl, Latitude
Festival, Place des Art and the Burj Dubai. She demonstrates that the violin is
a truly diverse instrument captivating audiences with her powerful presence and
through her original compositions, can create a refreshing, electronic classical
sound.
