What is there to like about Poetry, you might say? Well:

• A poem begins in delight, and ends in wisdom.

• Through poetry you can describe vast things, precisely. You can give shape to your emotions and thoughts.

• It’s the best way to express what you feel and give a form to your imaginations.

• It’s a wonderful way to meet fellow members!

 

This month’s theme is ‘Summer Paradise’. Read from the classics or share your own work – poems and prose – which address this dramatic theme. Join us at 7pm in our atmospheric Etruscan Room for an evening of drama and fun.

 

Hosted by our very own genius of free verse, Robin Dutt.
