EVENT INFORMATION

The Arizu family have been making wine in Mendoza since 1901; over a century later,
Alberto Arizu represents the fourth generation of his family to head up their pioneering estate, Bodega Luigi Bosca.

They are perhaps most famed for their key involvement in the creation of Argentina’s first D.O.C., Luján de Cuyo, and for producing the first wine under this D.O.C. in 1991. Due to their position at the very centre of Argentina’s quality winemaking history and heartland, they specialise in Malbec, the very lifeblood of the Argentinian wine identity. Bodega Luigi Bosca produces this iconic varietal in various different terroir expressions, exploring single vineyards at different altitudes.
