Meet the Author: Elizabeth S Moore 
‘The Man in the Middle of the Floor’

If you pick up a thriller these days and wonder whether it’s the same one you read last summer, come and meet Elizabeth S Moore who will be discussing how she succeeded in having her book published, the struggles in choosing a publisher, the lessons learnt in the process and how she hung on to her characters when she was asked to make them more ‘vanilla’.

About the book
Set in London, the novel is part of a new wave of thrillers that ask questions about the society we live in. Exploring the rising isolation around us and the changing nature of parenting, Elizabeth has used an autistic protagonist in this page-turning novel to illustrate how modern day life isn’t meeting any of our needs and leaving us more and more alone despite computers, social media and more ways of connecting than ever before.
