White Cube Mason’s Yard presents: Isamu Noguchi: This Earth, This Passage
‘Working across a wide range of disciplines, the bi-racial, multicultural American sculptor
Isamu Noguchi (1904–88) developed a uniquely open-ended, ecumenical, forward-looking
perspective on global culture. The diversity of materials attests to the interdisciplinary nature
of the artist’s practice, informed by his itinerant travels and belief that art is in a ‘constant
process of becoming’.’

3812 Gallery presents: Qian Wu: Black and Blue
‘Born in Xiamen, China, in 1991, Qian Wu studied painting in America, inspiring him to
transcend the boundaries between East and West and integrate traditional Chinese brush
painting with the bold strokes of Western abstraction. Using a mix of oil, acrylic resin and ink
in black, white and blue, Wu leads viewers on a journey between abstract and structural
forms.’

Stern Pissarro presents: ART on PAPER: 1920 to 2020
‘‘ART on PAPER: 1920 to 2020’ brings together their finest modern and contemporary
works on paper. With highlights by blue chip artists such as Matisse, Picasso, Chagall, Calder
and Kusama, the selection covers a range of styles, moods and techniques, to provide an
insight into the intimate world of paper. Works on paper are celebrated for their delicacy and
versatility. Often, they showcase a more raw and organic approach, providing viewers with a
deeper understanding of the artist’s technique, away from the typically labour intensive, or
overly refined, process of painting.’

Saatchi Yates presents: Bathers
‘‘Bathers’- a major group exhibition drawing from the rich tradition of Bathing scenes in the
history of painting, in ode to the ultimate summer muse. The exhibition will bring together a
collection of contemporary art, presented alongside renowned Post-War and Historical
Masters including David Hockney, Paul Cezanne, J. M. W. Turner and Pablo Picasso.
Contemporary stars such as Hurvin Anderson, Peter Doig, Henry Taylor and Eric Fischl will
feature in the show, creating an artistic tapestry that reflects the breadth and diversity of the
Bathers theme across the history of art. Notable pieces from Jean-Baptiste Oudry, Pierre-
Auguste Renoir, Damien Hirst, and Auguste Rodin will also be on display.

Robilant + Voena presents: Style. A Journey of Elegance from Anthony van Dyck to Kehinde
Wiley‘Robilant+Voena is staging a significant exhibition of portraits, tracing the evolution of style
in menswear, with a particular focus on the changing fashions of the jacket. From a majestic
seventeenth-century portrait by Sir Anthony van Dyck, the exhibition explores the
development of the sartorial elegance of male sitters across the centuries, culminating in a
breath-taking work by Kehinde Wiley, which brings the journey into the present day.’
