It’s thought that Plato first coined the phrase “Necessity is the mother of invention” or in other words, difficult times inspire ingenious solutions! So given that meeting anyone new is difficult at the moment, why not come along to our light-hearted evening of fun and frolics as we bring the dates to you in the comfort of your own home!

Open to members only, we’ve teamed up with Original Dating to bring the very first Home House Virtual Speed Dating event, designed for some entertainment (and perhaps more!) in the month of Saint Valentine.

Virtually join us and our host, Arthur, via your laptop, mobile or tablet – in fact any device equipped with a camera and mic and the event will begin!

You’ll then be transported to virtual tables for two which offer a one-on-one private chat environment for your first four-minute date. The male participants then move around the virtual tables until everyone has met everyone else attending.

You’ll meet up to 20 people for short dates – all from the comfort of your own home.

After the virtual event has taken place, simply head over to the unique matching system supplied by Original Dating where you will see a list of everyone you virtually met. Select who’s a yes, a friend or a no and their system will crunch the matches.

The following day, your matches will be revealed online. You’ll then be able to message those you matched with via the system and arrange further virtual meetups, and hopefully in the not-too-distant future some real life dates as well.

We hope you will get in the spirit and enjoy the evening, and whether it’s love or friendship it’s a fantastic opportunity to get to know other members of the House!
