EVENT INFORMATION

A perfect pre-Valentine, Frederic Lord Leighton’s wildly opulent house in Holland Park is an absolute must see and is now looking better than ever with the temporary return of Leighton’s Masterpiece ‘Flaming June’ – one of the most memorable and reproduced images in British Art.

The house will be open privately for Home House members and we’ll start the evening with drinks in the plushest dining room in town.

Vibrating with organic decoration, including an indoor fountain, a sensuous Arab Hall, gold gilded ceilings, stunning Damescene tiles and beautiful drawings and paintings by Leighton and his circle, the building embodies the Victorian ideals of aesthetics and ‘art for art’s sake’.

It is a must see for any Londoner or visitor to the capital.

Cost: £49 includes private access to Leighton House and drinks.

Time/Location: 6.00pm, Leighton House, Kensington W14
