EVENT INFORMATION

Join us for a Meet the Producer ‘away day’ with a trip to one of the UK’s leading producers, Hattingley Valley. Established in 2008 and boasting over 60 acres of vines, the Hattingley Valley team oversee everything down to the very last, minute detail to ensure consistently brilliant wine. People used to laugh at English wine….not anymore!

 

You will be greeted at Home House for the journey by coach to the winery (approximately 1hr 45mins). You’ll be welcomed with tea and coffee on arrival before taking a guided tour of the vineyards, with fantastic views across the Hampshire countryside, and hopefully some nice weather! We advise comfortable footwear and umbrellas, just in case!

 

Following the vineyard visit, you’ll make your back for an in-depth guided tour of the state-of-the-art winery and the sparkling wine-making process, finishing with a tasting of Hattingley’s current range of wines. You’ll then enjoy a delicious two course lunch at the award-winning pub, The Purefoy Arms, accompanied by a glass of Hattingley Classic Reserve, before heading back to London with sparkling (of course!) refreshments for the journey. Expect to arrive back at Home House around 6pm.
