What is there to like about Poetry, you might say? Well:
• A poem begins in delight, and ends in wisdom.
• Through poetry you can describe vast things, precisely. You can give shape to your emotions and thoughts.
• It’s the best way to express what you feel and give a form to your imaginations.
• It’s a wonderful way to meet fellow members!

 

With the Winter ready to enter the scene, this month’s theme is, ‘The Light Beyond’. Read from the classics or share your own work – poems and prose – which address this dramatic theme and set the scene for the coming festive season. Join us at 7.30pm for wine and canapes in our atmospheric Etruscan Room for an evening of drama and fun.

 

Hosted by our very own genius of free verse, Robin Dutt.
