House 21 presents..Dia de Los Muertos Party

with special guests Los Pacaminos

As part of our Twenty Years of Music programme, we are thrilled that the Tex Mex band Los Pacaminos featuring one of the UK’s best loved vocalists, Paul Young are the main attraction at House 21’s Dia de Los Muertos Party. They will take you on a tequila-fuelled journey into Mexican border blues!

Expect real bar room stuff: foot stompers, not too many slow songs – a real party atmosphere guaranteed.

This colourful commemoration of honoured spirits, aka the Day of the Dead, is a whimsical celebration for the new life of the dead. No celebration is complete without face painting, cheery skeletons, flower laden hair and garlands. So join in the fiesta!

The band will be playing live sessions at approximately:

First set:  9.00pm – 9.45pm and Second set:  10.15pm – 11.00pm

And the Octagon Dining Room will be serving a special Mexican dinner in honour – entry to the party is complimentary for you and your dinner guests.

Starters

Campechana – shrimp & crab cocktail with tomato, lime and chilli dressing

Squash blossom and goats cheese quesadilla’s with salsa verde (v)

Mains

selection of tacos per person:

Slow roasted pork carnitas with watermelon pico de gallo

Seared flank steak with coriander crema, corn red onion and jalapeño salsa

Fish fillets with chipotle crema, pickled red onions, jack fruit, black bean, guacamole

Coriander rice and jicama slaw

Dessert

Chilli and cinnamon spiced dark chocolate flan with candied pumpkin

Party Ticket: Member £10, Guest £25 includes welcome tequila cocktail and canapes
